My Models
The different models are based on the patterns of the old masters. I get my inspiration from these beautiful old instruments, but I do not intend to just make copies. I leave the field of copying to others! All my instruments are originals, my very individual interpretations that provide the space for my own creativity and personal taste. Every single instrument is a unique and original piece of art, quickly responding to the bow, with great projection and huge potential in all characteristics. I usually make my instruments in 4 different patterns.

Please remember that I gain my inspiration from these beautiful old instruments, but I do not try to copy them. Just as the masters’ hands were guided by inspiration, every Bernd Dimbath instrument has its own character, its own personality and its own style.
